I was attending a wedding a few days back.I was getting bored and restless but had no choice other than staying there.So,I started looking around and soon enough got rid of my misery.Weddings specially Punjabi weddings are almost similar.You are sure to see some things,some people in every wedding.....
Well,every wedding has it's stars-
1. There's always a really attractive girl(or more) dancing on the dance floor.Every guy is gawking at her-from the hormonal teenager to the balding uncles and the bald tau's.She dances very enthusiastically and very well too.Even the groom steals a few glances .....
2. There's a group of guys usually the groom's friends or brothers who've had some drinks and think they're the main lead in the punjabi version of Step Up. Each one of them is also eying the broads on the floor....
3. There's also a group of men who are searching for some elusive space to open their 'bisky' or 'skaach'.
4. There's a gang of 'aunties' with their flashy suits and make up,usually on the heavier side.This tribe spends the evening gossiping,commenting and criticizing and munching on snacks.Their girth aside,they're swiftest movers to the dinner tables.
5. There's 'the drunk' who's completely wasted,stumbles all around,makes friends with the Band players,throws up and finally goes to sleep on the ground....
It's these players that make the Punjabi wedding scene memorable.They also make the punjabi weddings similar.So,if you missed your uncle's cousin's sister's son's wedding,don't worry you can always go to the aunt's brother's son's wedding ...
